Dentists
Our dentists pride themselves on being caring, compassionate and thorough. Dr Keo, Dr Daniel & Dr Nitin are highly respected by their patients & fellow staff members as a result of this. Our three dentists make sure to take the time to deliver their services to a very high standard.
Dr Keolin Naidoo (BOH Grad Dip Dent)
Dr Keo is our compassionate and caring principal dentist who puts 110% effort towards every patient and their dental needs. Dr Keo makes patients feel at ease and helps them with dental anxiety. Dr Keo obtained his Bachelor of Oral Health at Griffith University in 2013. Dr Keo’s passion for dentistry continued to grow when he was selected to be a part of a federally run graduate program. This program allowed for a major growth in his dental experience whilst working at Redcliffe Dental Hospital. Since then, Dr Keo has become highly experienced in extractions, root canal treatment, crowns, bridgework and dentures. Outside the world of dentistry, Dr Keo enjoys playing cricket and loves some cheeky Nando’s.
Dr Daniel Lee (BOH MDent)
Dr Daniel Lee graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry. Prior to dentistry, Daniel completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist. Dr Daniel enjoys caring for patients from all walks of life, from young to old. Daniel’s philosophy is to be non-judgmental and respectful and help patients to get back to feeling comfortable with their teeth through a strong emphasis on preventive dentistry. Daniel has a calm and gentle chair-side manner and takes pride in making each patients experience positive one. Outside of dentistry, Daniel enjoys travelling, hiking, cycling, playing piano, as well as sharing a home cooked meal with friends and family.
Dr Nitin Baria (B.D.S (Liverpool) )
Dr. Nitin graduated from the University of Liverpool U.K. With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Before coming to Australia in 2020, Nitin worked in various practices including as a speciality dentist for the Restorative Department at Glenfield Hospital. Nitin has almost 25 years of dental experience and, in 2013, amongst the completion of many post-graduate courses, Dr Nitin was also awarded Best Dentist by Prof. Paul Tipton in relation to his practical restorative training course. Additionally, Dr Nitin enjoys getting his teeth stuck in to all aspects of dentistry. However, he especially enjoys both cosmetic dentistry and minimally invasive approaches. Outside of the dental clinic, Dr Nitin loves to travel, play piano, garden and capture life’s beautiful moment on his camera.
Oral Health Therapist
An Oral Health Therapist is a dental professional that provides dental services to children and adolescents. Additionally, they provide dental hygiene services to people of all ages. At Taigum Dental Team, we are blessed to have George as our Oral Health Therapist. Here’s why!
George (OHT)
George Aiad is an experienced, compassionate, gentle and caring Oral Health Therapist who graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2010 with a Bachelor of Oral Health. George has worked in both Australia and New Zealand for many years and has gained a great amount of experience in the care of oral hygiene for children and adolescent patients. Another main focus of George’s is assessing and treating periodontal (gum) disease. George puts the utmost effort into helping you treat or prevent your gum disease. In 2022 he completed further study at the University of Sydney, that allows him to assess, create treatment plans and provide treatment for patients of all ages. In his spare time, George loves to spend time with his wife and son, as well as attend church.
Clinic Co-Ordinator
Jodi
Jodi has been with Taigum Dental Team since we opened our doors! (Okay.. maybe she was a week late). Jodi is our little ray of sunshine in the clinic & has been in the dental industry for over 9 years. Not only is she an amazing clinic coordinator, she is also a part of our marketing & advertising team, one of our nurses and receptionists, and likes to keep up to date with all the new infection control standards! – talk about a talented woman; a jack of all trades! Her knowledge of all things dental makes her the perfect person to have by your side throughout your dental treatment! In her spare time, Jodi loves to read books, go to the beach, complete puzzles and go on brunch dates with Georgia.
Receptionists
Our receptionists, Georgia, Karla, Jodi and Nat, are devoted to building lasting relationships with each and every patient. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, our receptionists will make your visit an enjoyable one. Even if going to the dentist isn’t your favourite pastime. Our reliable team will provide you with a reason to smile bigger and brighter.
Georgia
Georgia has been with TDT since September 2021, and has been enthusiastically gaining more skills and knowledge as she continues thriving in the dental environment. Her positive and ambitious mindset, quick thinking, and problem solving skills make her a very valuable asset to our team. You’ll find Georgia at the front desk or in the sterilisation room, as she has recently discovered that she enjoys being a steri nurse! Outside of work, Georgia loves to go out to brunch with Jodi, go to her boyfriend’s DJ sets, watch true crime and hit the beach during the warmer months.
Karla
Karla started at TDT in January 2022 and is our most bubbly team member! Not only does she make our staff happy, she also makes our patients happy with her vibrant and warm-hearted qualities. Karla is very experienced as both a receptionist and a dental nurse, with almost 10 years of experience in the industry, meaning she can help you with almost any question you may have in regards to your payments OR your treatment! When not livening up the practice, Karla loves to spend time with her boyfriend, explore nature, skateboard and watch her sister’s singing gigs.
Natasha
With the longest time in the dental industry on our team (20 years!), Nat is an amazing receptionist and has been with us from the moment our doors opened! Nat also used to be a dental nurse, but decided that reception is what she enjoys the most. Nat has an amazing, soothing presence whenever she is in the clinic and is an irreplaceable member of our team. If you have any concerns at all, her impressive knowledge and understanding will help guide you in the right direction. When Nat isn’t being a whiz behind reception, she loves spending time with her family and keeping active.
Dental Nurses
Our highly experienced dental nurses, Renee, Jodi & Charlotte, provide exceptional care to each and every patient they see. They ensure their patients feel at ease during their treatment & love assisting patients achieve their dream smile. With years of experience in dentistry, and exceptional knowledge of infection control, there’s nobody else you’d rather have to help you smile brighter every day.
Renee
Renee joined us at Taigum Dental Team in January of 2022 and has been an exceptional dental nurse throughout her dental career of 8 years. Her kind, warm and caring personality leaves our patients feeling at ease during their appointments & help calm any nerves you may be having! In her spare time, Renee loves to watch her sons play football, catch up with friends & enjoy maintaining a strong focus on her skincare!
Charlotte
Charlotte is an excellent dental nurse with more than 3.5 years experience in the industry. Charlotte has recently joined our team and is already thriving and loving the team environment! Her empathetic, calming and fun-loving nature helps our patients feel more than welcome while they are here! She can also help make even the most nervous patients feel secure and calm while they are here. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys doing park-runs, going to the gym, spending time with her friends and family and hosting BBQ’s!
